Alice M Wolhuter

Alice Miller Wolhuter age 96 of Bellevue, NE was born Nov 14, 1921 in Alton, IL. and passed away April 9, 2018 at her home.  Her parents were Paul Gray Miller & Elizabeth (Stallings) Miller.  The family lived in St. Louis and she graduated from St. Louis Central High School and attended Washington University.

Alice was united in marriage to George R. Wolhuter in October 31, 1941 in St. Louis, MO.  Together they had 3 sons Bruce, Robert and William.  Alice led a life-long love of music. She sang in church choirs, civic choruses and a Sweet Adeline acapella group.  Alice also enjoyed playing bridge and solving both crossword and jig-saw puzzles.

She is survived by sons:  Bruce Wolhuter of Kansas and Robert Voliter of Colorado;  five grandchildren Lisa Wolhuter of Overland Park, KS, Heather (Buck) Meisinger of Plattsmouth, NE, Sage (Mike) Nelson of Vail, CO, Tyler (Mel Lim) Voliter of Brisbane, CA and Mary Logan of Denver, CO. five great-grandchildren Kelby, Jessica, JD, Peyton and Wyatt.

George, her husband of 67 years proceeded her in death in 2008.  She was also preceded in death by her youngest son William in 2016; and her brother & sister-in-law Bill and Eleanor Miller.

There will be no visitation or service at this time.

Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation.
