Anna M Livingston

Anna M. Livingston age 103 of Plattsmouth was born on the Ulrich family farm near Murray on May 28, 1914 to Ewald and Josephine (Dietl) Ulrich.  She passed away peacefully on Monday, August 14, 2017 at the Nebraska Masonic Home in Plattsmouth, Nebraska. Anna was raised in rural Cass County.  She and Richard G. Livingston were married on February 27, 1935 in Plattsmouth.  They made their home west of Plattsmouth, then Louisville, and later they began a life of farming together.  She spent 95 years as a resident of Cass County, leaving only to be with her daughter Susan in Springfield, MO for several years.    Her farm life, brought many joys throughout the years including her involvement with various extension clubs.  She enjoyed planting and caring for large flower and vegetable gardens.  When she wasn’t taking care of things on the farm such as helping feed and care for animals, she spent time working on various sewing projects.    She is survived by her Children,  Thomas R. (Darla) Livingston of Colorado Springs, CO, JoAnn L. Gonser of Montrose, CO, Susan M. (Jon) Fusselman of Venice, FL, grandchildren:   Boyd Livingston, Rachel Ahalt, Debbie Thacker, Lisa Tanksley, William Fusselman, Katherine Berry, Molly Baurain; 14 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren;  sister,  Dorothy Babcock of Goshen, NY.  She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in Death by her parents, Ewald & Josephine Ulrich; daughter,  Alice Jane Livingston; husband,  Richard Livingston; sisters,  Freda Fahrlander, Frances Krejci & Helen Schneider, brothers,  Carl Ulrich, Albert “Bud” Ulrich & Bernard Ulrich and son-in-Law:  K. C. Gonser. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Church of the Holy Spirit in Plattsmouth, Nebraska with Father Michael Houlihan, officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, August 24, 2017 from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM and Friday, August 25, 2017 from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM (family will greet friends from 3:30 until 5:00 PM) at the Funeral Home.  The Rosary will be Friday, August 25th at 7:00 PM at the Church. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Plattsmouth, Nebraska.  Memorials may be directed to the Church of the Holy Spirit or The Nebraska Masonic Home.
