Barbara Jean Robinson

Barbara Jean Robinson passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family, April 7, 2021.  She was born March 6, 1952 in Omaha, NE to Edward and Nancy (Parsons) Rickard.  She grew up in Omaha and on April 16, 1971 she wed Raymond Robinson.

Together they raised 10 children.  They moved to Weeping Water, NE where Barb was a homemaker and homeschooled her children.  Later she began working in the cafeteria in the Plattsmouth High School and she continued until retirement.  She spent her extra time with family and friends, at her church and crocheting blankets.  Barb loved to shop at the local thrift stores and would find lots of bargains.

She is survived by her mother, Nancy Trujillo; children, Rachael (Brian) Joyal, Keri (John) Power, Tracie (Clay) Dickerson, Kyle (Jenny) Robinson, Michelle Robinson, Melissa (Justin) Ruhge, Corine (Andrew) Brinkley, Cory (Rachel) Robinson, Shauna (Shelden) Rose; 33 grandchildren, Michael, Tiffany and Trinity Bardwell, Kaleigh and Jesse Power, Caleb, Aubrey, Alyssa, and Duane Dickerson, Eli, Addison, Lyndee, Fynlee Robinson, Timothy, Aurora, Samuel, Josiah Miles, Shawn Rodenbough, Ella Williams, Terry and Herbie Fritsch, Jessica Robinson, David, Jackson, Blake and Shaelyn Ruhge, Makenzie, Lacey, Harper, and Alex Brinkley, Axel Robinson, Barbara and Theodore Rose; 6 great grandchildren; sisters and brothers.

Barb was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Robinson; father, Edward Rickard; step-mother, Bev Rickard; step-father, Frank Trujillo; son, Duane Robinson.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 11, 2021 5 – 7:00 P.M. at the First Baptist Church - 16220 Hwy 75 – Plattsmouth, NE

Funeral Service:  Monday, April 12, 2021 at 10:30 A.M. at the First Baptist Church

Graveside Service:  Monday, April 12, 2021 at 1:30 P.M. in Oakwood Cemetery, Weeping Water, NE
