Billy Bob Schreiner

Billy Bob Schreiner, a beloved resident of Plattsmouth, NE, passed away peacefully at his home on May 21, 2024, at the age of 68. Billy was born on January 8, 1956, in Nebraska City, NE, to parents William Ray and Francis Louellen (Taylor) Schreiner.

Billy graduated from Weeping Water High School in 1974 and would go on to proudly serve his country in the United States Army. Following his military service, he worked for many years as a Locator for Black Hills Energy, before retiring.

On December 27, 2002, Billy married Lisa Ann Huey at the Country Bar in Plattsmouth, where they shared many cherished memories together. He a member of both the Weeping Water American Legion and the Weeping Water Volunteer Fire Department.

Billy loved spending time outside - grilling, fishing, camping, or sitting on the deck, watching the lake. He was known for his moves on the dance floor and singing his favorite songs at karaoke. In his early years, he also had a passion for racing cars, but most important to Billy was spending quality time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Schreiner, of Plattsmouth, and his children: Wendi (Terry) Patton of Weeping Water, NE, and Shelley Schreiner of Salida, CO, grandchildren; Jacob (Joslynn) Patton, Kelly (Tyler) Blevins, and Noah Patton, and his great-grandchildren: Jack, Theodore, Lucy, and Savannah. Additionally, Billy Bob is survived by his stepchildren: Nichole Peitzmeier (Steve Ham) of Papillion, NE; Rachael (Joe) Cimarolli of Crown Point, IN; and Paul Peitzmeier of Joplin, MO, step-grandchildren, Katlynn (Randy) Moran, Brittany Peitzmeier, Tyler Codr, and Haley Greene, as well as step-great-grandchildren, Annice, Kellen, Elise, Sophia, Nate, Ella, McKinley, Emma, Asher, Mason, Annaya, and Alianna, siblings; David Schreiner of Cedar Creek, NE; Rex (Kathy) Schreiner of Weeping Water, NE; Scott (Rose) Schreiner of Weeping Water, NE and Deb (Dave) Parker of Omaha, NE; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Billy was proceeded in death by his dad, William Schreiner, his mom, Francis Wade, and his stepdad, Dick Wade.

A Celebration of Life for Billy will be held Friday, May 24, 2024 at 2:00 PM at the

Country Bar - 19715 Gladys Dr, Plattsmouth, NE 68048.

Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation.
