Brenda Pilgrim, aged 75, of Plattsmouth, Nebraska, passed away on January 23, 2026 at her home in Plattsmouth, Nebraska. She was born on December 22, 1950, in Cleves, Ohio, to Robert and Ruby (Godsey) Spivey.

At a young age, her family moved to Anchorage, Alaska and it was there, Brenda graduated from high school in 1969. Brenda was united in marriage to Martin Pilgrim on May 30, 1975, in Anchorage. They later moved to Plattsmouth in 1978 where they lovingly raised two sons, Robert and Jonathan.

Brenda dedicated many years of service as a cook at Plattsmouth Keno, a position she held from the restaurant's inception until the year 2000. She was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary and found joy in spending time at the casino with her dear friend, Kay and Barb.Above all else, 

Brenda was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She is survived by her two sons, Robert (Terril) Pilgrim and Jonathan Pilgrim both of Plattsmouth; her grandsons, Tyson Pilgrim and Dallas Pilgrim; her step-grandchildren; Alexis, Destinee, Ashleigh, and Graydon, along with three great grandchildren; Maya, Wyatt and Tobias; her brothers, Bob Spivey and Sam Russel both of Anchorage, Alaska. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. 

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Robert & Ruby Spivey, her husband, Martin Pilgrim, sisters Betty Kirsch and Carol Fowler. 

Brenda's wishes were to be cremated, no services will be held. 

Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation.
