Carl G Timerman

Carl G. Timerman age 91 of Plattsmouth passed away peacefully at the Hillcrest Care and Rehabilitation Center in Bellevue, Nebraska ton Thursday, September 23, 2021. He was born on April 2, 1930, in Toledo, Ohio to Hugh V. and Elva (Gerber) Timerman. Carl grew up in Ohio and after completing High School, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. While stationed in Mesa, Arizona, he was united in marriage to Joan C. Thrift on February 6, 1953. Together they raised four children, Kathy Michael, Peggy, and Robert. While in the Air Force, they traveled to various locations until reaching Offutt Air Force Base in Bellevue, where Carl retired after 20 years of service. He worked in various part time positions following his retirement. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, and playing KENO. Carl is survived by his wife of 68 years, Joan Timerman of Plattsmouth, children, Kathy (Charles) Jordan of Plattsmouth, Peggy (Michael Taylor) Newcomb of Plattsmouth, NE, Robert Timerman of Plattsmouth, daughter-in-law Kristine Timerman, grandchildren, Christopher Timerman, Thresa Evans, Brian Timerman, Christopher Jordan, Brent Jordan, Aaron Jordan, Cari Morehouse, Carl Newcomb, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Michael Timerman, 3 sisters and 1 brother. Private family services will be held at a later date with burial in the Omaha National Cemetery.
