Carol A Birdwell

Carol A. Birdwell age 79 of Plattsmouth, Nebraska passed away peacefully at Hillcrest Health & Rehab in Bellevue, NE Monday, June 22, 2020.  She was born in Erie, PA July 24, 1940 to George and Dorothy (Longstreet) Whitherspoon.

She was united in marriage to Dayton Birdwell on April 12, 1963 in Phoenix, AZ.  They eventually made their home in Plattsmouth.

Carol enjoyed sewing, cross stitch, scrapbooking and her cruises to Alaska.

She is survived by husband, Dayton of Plattsmouth, Nebraska daughter, Susan Birdwell of  Plattsmouth, Nebraska son, Brian Birdwell of Union, Nebraska and  grandson, Kasey Birdwell of Union, Nebraska.

Carol was preceded in death by parents, George and Dorothy Whitherspoon, sister, Shirley Whitherspoon.

A service will be held Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Harvey Funeral Home at 2:00 PM with visitation one hour prior to (social distancing per state guidelines) with Rev. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Plattsmouth, NE.
