Carol Ann Glaze

Carol Ann (Burch) Glaze, 86, of Bellevue, Washington, died Thursday, August 3, 2023 at Bothell Care Center in Washington.

Mrs. Glaze was born April 20, 1937, in Nebraska City to Harriet (Leach) Burch and Charles A. Burch. Raised and schooled in Plattsmouth, Mrs. Glaze was a 1955 graduate of Plattsmouth High School. On June 2, 1957, she married Richard “Dick” Glaze in Plattsmouth. Mrs. Glaze moved with her husband, who worked for the Union Pacific Railroad to Houston, Texas in 1967. They later moved to Salt Lake City, Utah and then Bellevue, Washington. Mrs. Glaze was a member of the Presbyterian Church and the Order of East Star, Home Chapter #189.

Survivors include daughter, Elizabeth Glaze, Bothell, WA; son, Jeff Glaze, Kirkland, WA; grandchildren, Katie, Emily and Tyler; grandchildren, Addy, Austin, Avery and Luella; brother-in-law, John J. “Jack” Glaze, Plattsmouth, NE; and brother-in-law, Howard E. Heil, Fremont, NE.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her siblings, John Burch, Sandra (Burch) Heil, and William Burch.

There will be a family graveside service. Family suggests memorials to the donor's favorite charity.
