Carolyn A. Newburn-Prososki

Carolyn A. Newburn-Prososki age 73 of Plattsmouth was born on June 14, 1941 in Osmond, Nebraska to Wallace and Gertrude (Leubers) Kahler. She passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. She graduated from High School in Osmond, Nebraska and eventually made her home in Plattsmouth, Nebraska. She worked as a caretaker for The Nebraska Masonic Home, Golden Living Center and Plattsmouth Community Schools. She loved her garden and spent many hours tending to her flowers. She also enjoyed sewing, working with ceramics and pottery and collecting ‘things’. Her greatest love was the time spent with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her Children: Jo (Daniel) Derner of Valley, NE, Kevin Newburn of Plattsmouth, NE; Dana Newburn of Cozad, NE; Kathy (Jason Frazee) Prososki-Large of St. Joseph, MO. Grandchildren: Sarah, Michael, Vanessa, Patricia, Hollie, Clayton, Bronson, Anthony, Hayden, Dean, Julie, Bonnie, James, Maggie, Kelsey, Matrix and Aspen. 7 Great Grandchildren; Sisters, Mary (Howard) Zeman of Monrose, CO, Jackie (Gary) Hazen of David City, NE; Brother, Paul (Judy) Kahler of Osmond, NE. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Wallace & Gertrude Kahler and daughter, Nora Anderson Funeral Services will be Monday, January 5, 2015 at 10:30 AM. at Harvey Funeral Home, Plattsmouth, NE Visitation will be Sunday, January 4, 2015 from 4 until 8 PM with the family present to greet friends.
