Catherine R. Burnett

Catherine R. Burnett age 64 of Plattsmouth was born December 14, 1953 in Jersey City, New Jersey to George and Helen (Richards) Mowell.  She passed away surrounded by family at her home in Plattsmouth on Saturday, May 12, 2018.

On September 30, 2000 she was united in marriage to Brad Anthony Burnett in Glenwood, IA.

Cathy enjoyed collecting antiques, traveling and working.  She liked being in charge of the family.  Bookeeping and accounting work was very enjoyable and later she worked for Hyatt Reservation Center.

She is survived by her husband: Tony Burnett of Plattsmouth, NE; son:  Mark (Billie) Vandenburgh of Plattsmouth, NE; grandchildren:  Grace, Bryce, Zachary, Allie Vandenburgh; sister, Mary Ann (Rick) Cain of Boynton Beach, FL and brother, William (Pati) Mowell of Lake City, FL

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Harvey Funeral Home 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. with the family present 6:00 thru 8:00 P.M.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 10:30 A. M. at the Harvey Funeral Chapel in Plattsmouth, NE with Rev. Lane Bailey officiating.  Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Plattsmouth, NE

Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation.
