Cherie L Wallace

Cherie L. Wallace, age 75 of Plattsmouth, NE passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE.  She was born on June 20, 1945 in Marysville, Kansas to Verlin and Valecia (Pickett) Wichman.

Cherie grew up in the LaPlatte, NE area and graduated from Platteview High School.  She received a degree from Clarkson College in Bellevue, NE.  She met John Wallace at a dance and the two were united in marriage in La Platte, Nebraska  She enjoyed dancing, sewing, painting and loved her pets very much.

She is survived by Husband, John Wallace of Plattsmouth, NE; Children, Jerry Hodge, Jr., Plattsmouth, NE, Grady Madgett III, Knoxville, TN, Morgan Jackson, Chesterfield, VA.; grandchildren, Kayla Wilson, Harrisonburg, VA, Kimberly Jackson – Chesterfield, VA, Valorie and Abbie Harrison - Ralston, NE; great grandchild, Hunter Layne Wilson; sisters and brother, Sharon Piper, Plattsmouth, Ernie Wichman, Beatrice, NE, and Pam Adair, Gretna, NE.  She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Cherie was preceded in death by her parents, Verlin and Valecia Wichman.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
