Cora Nell Woodward

Cora N. Woodward was born February 3, 1940 in Sudan, TX. and passed away June 1, 2012 in Bellevue, NE. Her parents were Robert and Willie Mae(Clemens) Heckey. She graduated from high school, married and became a homemaker. She married Frank S. Steele on April 21, 1962. After the death of Frank she married Dariel Woodward on July 10, 2010 in Marinsco, MI. and moved to Plattsmouth to live. Cora is survived by her husband Dariel (Woody) Woodward of Plattsmouth, NE., sons: James (Terri) Cleland of Yutan, NE; Joseph Steele of St. Bernardino, CA.; step-children: Harry Woodward of Sheridan, WY, Mary (Eric) Staley of Omaha, NE, and Dawn (Tom) Kintzel of Irving, TX.; grandchildren: Larna, Jason, Leanna Cleland, Cora Jean Legacy Steele and a brother Andy Heckey. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Frank S. Steele. Cora worked as a delivery driver of auto parts. She enjoyed her family, gardening, traveling and going to the casino to gamble. A memorial service will be held Friday, June 8, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at the Harvey Funeral Home Chapel in Plattsmouth. Pastor Jim Spanjers of Hosanna Lutheran Church will officiate.
