Curtis Christopher Pepple age 59 of Union, Nebraska was born on July 4, 1956 in Carrington, North Dakota to Harold and Janet (Schemilfenig) Pepple. He passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at his residence in Union, Nebraska.
As a young person, Curtis’ family moved to Phoenix, Arizonia where he graduated from High School. Shortly after High School, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. During his time in the military he worked as a Dental Assistant. He retired from the Air Force having obtained the rank of a Tech Sargent at Offutt Air Force Base in Bellevue, Nebraska. After retirement, he was able to work at the Base Clinic until his death, a career that spanned 38 years.
He had a passion for classic cars. On Saturdays you could find Curtis having breakfast in Nebraska City with his friends from the Cliff’s Classic Car Club before they would go to work on whatever car project they had planned. He was also an avid reader enjoying several different novelists.
Curtis is survived by his Life Partner Betty Shaw of Union; mother Janet Pepple of Phoenix, AZ; brothers Gordon of Phoenix, AZ and Neal of Washington State.
He was preceded in death by his father Harold Pepple.
Funeral Services will be Sat, Feb. 27, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Union Baptist Church, Union, NE.
