Delores J Little

Delores Joy Little age 84 of Papillion, formerly of Plattsmouth, NE passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 in Lincoln, Nebraska.  She was born on November 6, 1935 in Lead, South Dakota to Alfred and Anna (Hamilton) Nissen.

She met and was later married to Wilford “Willie” D. Little on May 8, 1954 in Neligh, Nebraska.  Together they made their home in Plattsmouth and raised their four children, Will, Marvin, Rhonda and Gail.  Delores devoted her life to God and family.  She cared for her children as they grew and later enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Delores was a faithful follower of Jesus and devoted time and resources to various ministries throughout the years.  She mailed cards, sent texts and emails to people throughout the world with encouraging messages and scripture verses.  She also enjoyed art and painting as time allowed.

She is survived by her children, Will (Debbie) Little, Papillion, NE; Marvin (Kendra) Little, Bellevue, NE; Rhonda (Mark) Stastka, Lincoln, NE; Gail (Mike) Osberg, Omaha, NE ;  11 grandchildren:  22 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a host of adopted family and friends who call her Grandma D.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred &  Anna Nissen, husband Willie Little, brothers, Dean & Kenneth Nissen, sisters, Ura Nissen, Virginia Willett and Rosemarie Haulet.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Calvary Church (30 ^th & Cornhusker) in Bellevue, NE.  The Service will be live streamed on our Facebook page ( Click Here ).

Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service at the Church.

Burial will follow the service in Oak Hill Cemetery, Plattsmouth, NE
