Derryl Wilson

Derryl Wilson was born on February 11, 1924 in Weeping Water, Nebraska to Harry D and Stella E. (Sea) Wilson.  He passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Duff's Friendship Villa in Nebraska City, Nebraska at the age of 90 years, 2 months and 6 days.Derryl graduated from Plattsmouth High School and then served in the Army Infantry during World War II.  After returning home, he worked fro Union Pacific Railroad as a Carman for 30 years.  He was a member of the V.F.W.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Stell Wilson and sister Frances Wilson.He is survived by his sister, Pauline Wilson of Murray, Nebraska.  Funeral Services will held on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Harvey Funeral Home Chapel in Plattsmouth with Rev. Jeff McDonald officiating.  Visiation will be Saturday, April 19, 2014 from Noon until the time of the Services at the Funeral Home.Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Plattsmouth.Memorials may be directed to the Family.Brian P.
