Harper, Donald D. age 76 – Plattsmouth, NE. April 19, 1937 - Feb. 6, 2014. He is survived by his wife Monika – Plattsmouth and children Brad Harper – Sioux City, IA, Michelle (Tom) Berka – Omaha, NE, Chad Harper – Omaha, NE, Chris Harper – Omaha; 4 Grandchildren: Matt Berka, Alex Berka, Michaela Harper, Candace Harper and 1 great-grandchild Liam Berka; Step Children: Joe (Lisa) West, - Ralston, Robert (Pam) West – Millard, Patricia (Troy) Krause – Glenwood, IA; Step Grandchildren: Lindsey Krause, Jozie Krause, Cody Krause, Taja Huske, Tony West, Ronald West, Melissa West and 1 Step Great Grandchild: Braxton Krause; Brothers: Dale Harper and Cecil Harper – Glenwood, IA and sisters Ruby Laurent - Las Vegas, NV, Shirley (John) Liddick – Omaha, Helen (Heinz) Rohde – Omaha, NE. Don was preceded in death by his parents Everett and Lessie (Hall) Harper and sisters Margaret Sullivan, Irene Kaplinger, Mildred Willis and Deloris Fitkin. Donald joined the United States Air Force in 1954. After his military service he had several different careers, for the last 30 years Don was a Real Estate Broker. He last held his license at Real Estate Associates in Omaha. Donald was a member of the Eagles Arie #365. Memorial Service will be Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014 at 2:00 PM. at Harvey Funeral Home Chapel in Plattsmouth, NE. No visitation. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
