Dorothy L. Carper

Dorothy Lou (Mackling) Carper born May 18, 1931 and died at the Nebraska Masonic Home, Plattsmouth, NE on Jan. 11, 2015. She was married for 58 years to Earl Carper, until his passing in 2007, and raised her family on the family farm in Emerson, Nebraska. She is survived by her loving children: Doug (Mary) Carper of Lincoln, NE, Steve (Gayle) Carper of Lincoln, NE, Nancy Carper of Columbia, MO, Diane Flynn of Omaha, NE and Leesa (Bob) Dzuris of Plattsmouth, NE. Dorothy had 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren who were the love of her life. She is also survived by sister, June Meech of Redlands, CA and twin brother, Donald Mackling of Emerson, NE. She was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Plattsmouth Bible Church on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 11:00 A.M.
