Dorothy E. Freeze born on September 27, 1914 in Phillipsville, Pennsylvania to Harrison and Hazel Longstreet. She passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at the Waterford at Woodbridge Assisted Living Center in Plattsmouth, Nebraska at the age of 100 years, 7 months and 5 days. She primarily grew up in Arizona where she assisted her parents in running the Phoenix Gospel Mission. She was a church pianist for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed fishing and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Birdwell and husband Dayton of Beaver Lake, NE; grandchildren, Susan Birdwell of Beaver Lake, NE and Brian Birdwell of Union, Nebraska and one great grandchild, Kasey Birdwell She was preceded in death by her daughter: Shirley Witherspoon; parents: Harrison & Hazel Longstreet; brother: Donald Longstreet; husbands: George Witherspoon, Tom Last, and Earl Freeze. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Harvey Funeral Home Chapel in Plattsmouth, Nebraska with Pastor Terry Wieble officiating. Visitation will be one hour before services at the Funeral Home.
