Elaine L Peitzmeier

Elaine Lucille Peitzmeier, age 88 of Plattsmouth, Nebraska was born on April 4, 1929 in Bloomfield, Nebraska to Friedrich and Sophia (Nabor) Klein.  She was baptized in Lindy Evangelical Church and confirmed in St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Bloomfield where she remained an active member until moving away.  She graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1946.  She passed away on Friday, October 6, 2017 at The Nebraska Masonic Home in Plattsmouth, Nebraska.   Elaine was united in marriage to Alvin Kenneth Peitzmeier on July 11, 1948 in Bloomfield, Nebraska.  She and Alvin farmed northeast of Bloomfield until Alvin’s death in 1963.   She is survived by her children, Monica Tucker of Papillion, NE; Jim (Connie) Peitzmeier of Omaha, NE; Joe (Diane) Peitzmeier of Omaha, NE; Sue (Joe) Temme of Omaha, NE; Mike (Kristi) Peitzmeier of Omaha, NE; 11 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.   Pall Bearers:  Grandchildren Jodi (Russ) Armstrong, Jeni Tucker, Alicia Vazquez, Jason (Mindy) Peitzmeier, Nancy (Pete) McEvoy, Maggie Peitzmeier, RJ Peitzmeier, Joe (Megan) Temme III, Jessica Heitzfeld, Tyler Peitzmeier, and Jacob (Lauren) Peitzmeier.   She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Alvin (1963), brothers, Fred, Ray, Art, Glen, Elmer and Herb Klein, sister, Magdalena Ermels and son-in-law Neil Tucker.   Visitation will be Tuesday, October, 10, 2017 from 5:00 until 7:00 pm, with a Prayer service at 7:00 pm all at the funeral home.   Graveside services will be Wednesday October 11, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Bloomfield Cemetery, Bloomfield, Nebraska.   Memorials to The Nebraska Masonic Home or Alzheimer’s Association.   Brian P.
