Elisabeth O Galbrecht

Elisabeth O. Galbrecht was born on April 5, 1925 in Heileburg, Germany. She passed away on Friday, March 15, 2013 at her home in Bellevue, Nebraska at the age of 87 years, 11 months 10 days. She was united in marriage to William Galbrecht on May 11, 1957 in Bad Kreuznach, Germany. During William’s time in the Army, they traveled often, but made their retirement home in Sedalia, Missouri. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a member of the Officers Wives Club and the German Coffee Club in Sedalia. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling back to visit family in Germany, shopping, knitting, crocheting, and most importantly spending time with her family who she dearly loved. She is survived by son, Frank Galbrecht, Sr. (Joanne), Olathe, KS; daughter, Nadene Colbert (Larry), Bellevue, NE, Grandchildren, Diane Galbrecht, Frank Galbrecht, Jr., Thomas Galbrecht (Gabby), Michael Colbert, Christine (Colbert) Clouse (Anthony); Paul Galbrecht, Molly Galbrecht. Preceded in death by husband William and son Bernhardt granddaughters, Shelley Ann and Katie Michelle Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 1:30 P.M. at Harvey Funeral Home Chapel in Plattsmouth, Nebraska with Rev. Jim Spanjers officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 20th from 6-8 PM with family greeting friends at the funeral home. Interment will be in the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Cemetery in Frazee, Minnesota when weather permits. Memorials may be directed to the family Harvey Funeral Home, Plattsmouth, NE 402-296-4445.
