Faith Ann Mayer, age 60 of Bellevue, Nebraska, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 5th, 2025. Born on  April 8th, 1964, in  Miami County, Indiana, Faith brought joy and warmth to all who knew her.

Faith was adopted by David and Ona Mayer and grew up with a loving family and shared enduring bonds with.  Faith graduated from Plattsmouth High School. She was involved with the Mosaic System, where she actively participated in numerous day services, (while loving every day spent with her friends as well as her current and past staff support, who also loved life.)  A shining beacon of inspiration, she was proudly inducted into the Nebraska Special Olympics Hall of Fame, celebrating her enthusiasm and achievements.

A fervent supporter of the Nebraska Cornhuskers, and also had a love for baseball.  With a warm heart, Faith delighted in the simple joys of life, like enjoying Little King Sandwiches and sipping on Dr. Pepper. Above all, her greatest happiness came from spending quality time with her beloved family, especially her treasured nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her siblings David (Susan) Mayer, Jr. of Council Bluffs, IA, Kevin (Lisa) Mayer of Omaha, NE, Mark Mayer of Bettendorf, IA, Danielle (Chad) Coffelt of Plattsmouth, NE, and Deidre (John) Donoho of Plattsmouth, NE;  step-mother, Doreen Mayer, and caregivers who became special friends, Gina & Rob Cortez of Phoenix, AZ and Jane & Fabio Rozier and family of Bellevue, NE.  Faith's memory lives on through numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews who adored her dearly.

Faith is preceded in death by her loving parents, David W. Mayer, Sr. and Ona F. Burns, as well as her cherished grandparents.

A visitation will take place at Brian P. Harvey Funeral Home in Plattsmouth, NE, on Friday, February 7th, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. with family greeting friends.  A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 8th, 2025, at 11:00 am, also at Brian P. Harvey Funeral Home.

Memorial donations can be directed to the family for future designation.
