Frederick "Redeye" A. Markham

Frederick Allen “Redeye” Markham was born May 23, 1948 to Clark and Mildred (Vincent) Markham in Plattsmouth, Nebraska. He passed away at his home surrounded by family on Monday, December 31, 2018 at the age of 70 years 7 months and 8 days.

Fred graduated from Plattsmouth High Schoolwith the Class of 1966 and went into the Army where he served in the Vietnam War. He later was married and raised 4 great children; Rachelle, Courtney, Haley, and Zach. He is a life time member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2543, Plattsmouth and worked for Lyman Richey for 40 years until his retirement.

Redeye is survived by his brother: Donald (Jill) Markham, daughters: Rachelle (Perry) Foster, Courtney (Jason)Rollins, Haley (John) Morehead, all of Plattsmouth, NE, son: Zach (Melissa) Markham, of Bellevue, NE. 11 grandchildren Kayla (Justin) Robison, Shelby Kindelin, Lauren Foster, David Foster, Kelsey Rollins, Logan Rollins, Emma Rollins Ava Morehead, Addison Morehead, Ronnie Keller, Ryker Markham, – 4 great grandchildren Mylus Robison, Linkin Robison, Nixon Robison, and Lucille Elster.

He is preceded in death by his parents Clark and Mildred Markham; 2 brothers Jim Markham and Bob Markham; 2 sisters Evelyn Peterson, and Patricia Wright.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at Brian P. Harvey Funeral Chapel - 306 North 7 ^th Street, Plattsmouth, Nebraska with burial January 8th at 1:00 P.M. at the Omaha National Cemetery - 14250 Schram Road - Omaha, NE. Memorials are suggested to the Family for later designation.

Visitation will be Friday, January 4 ^th 2019, from 1:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with the family greeting friends and family at the funeral home from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
