Gladys W Lewis

February 19, 1923 - March 1, 2025

Born in Shelbina, MO, to John and Bertha Moore, Gladys moved to Omaha in 1939, where she attended Tech High School. During WWII, she worked at Tip Top Manufacturing. Over the years she would hold many other positions, including an elevator operator, dental assistant, and bible school teacher.

Gladys met and married Lloyd K. Lewis, and had three children, Nancy, John, and Douglas. During their marriage, they moved to rural Cass County, NE, eventually settling in Plattsmouth.

Gladys is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lloyd, sisters, and son, Douglas. She is survived by her children, Nancy and John, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a niece, and a nephews.

Gladys was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend, who will be missed forever.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Harvey Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Allan Wooters officiating.

Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
