Hazel Pauline Will-Dronyk age 86 of Plattsmouth, Nebraska formerly of Gresham, Oregon passed away peacefully at her home in Plattsmouth on Friday, October 23, 2020. She was born on April 9, 1934 to William Earl and Daisy Florene (Kirkundall) Dillard in Whitesboro, Texas.
Hazel moved to Gresham, Oregon in 1950 where she helped found her lifelong church, Life Line Baptist Church. She met Arlo Will in 1951 and they were married in 1953. Together they raised four children, Joanie, Arlo, Duane and Mary.
Hazel pursued a career in nursing and worked as a LPN in pediatrics and as a charge nurse in multiple nursing homes. She also owned and operated her own nursing facility, Aging Flower Foster Care. She lived a full successful and happy life.
Hazel lost her husband Arlo Will to cancer in 1990. She remarried to Paul Dronyk in the winter of 1991. Paul passed away in 2008 from dementia and diabetes and sadly Hazel was diagnosed with dementia that same year. Tragedy again struck in 2012 when she lost her son, Arlo Will to pancreatic cancer.
Hazel moved with her children and grandchildren to Nebraska 2015. Throughout her life, Hazel has dedicated her life to her family and her church and has provided love and guidance. She touched the lives of everyone who has had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by her daughters Joanie Carol Will, Mary Helen Will-McGraw, son Duane Lee Will, all of Plattsmouth, NE, many grandchildren, great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren, and brother, John Dillard of Omaha, NE.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Daisy Dillard, husbands Arlo Will and Paul Dronyk, son Arlo Dell Will, sisters, Shirley Angus, Marilyn Harvey, Jayne Seifer, brothers, Sonny Dillard, David Dillard and Hillyard Dillard.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, November 6, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Harvey Funeral Home Chapel, Plattsmouth, Nebraska with Dr. Allan Wooters officiating. Livestreaming will be available on the Harvey Funeral Home Facebook Page.
Inurnment will be at a later date in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Gresham, Oregon.
Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation.
