Jack G Munhall

Jack Munhall passed away December 5, 2013. He was born May 7, 1926 in Omaha, NE to Charles and Ruth (Whitmore) Munhall. Jack grew up in the Plattsmouth area. On March 4, 1944 he enlisted in the US Navy and served until February 25, 1952. During this time he wed Jacquelyn Krejci on August 26, 1950 at the Methodist Church in Plattsmouth, NE. After leaving the service he worked as a Milk Man, at Wilson Packing and was self-employed as Cass County Rental working on small engine repair and rental. His hobbies included working on the computer his great grandhildren and being a fanatic for anything football. Jack is survived by his wife Jackie of Plattsmouth; children: Lyn Batten – Rogers, MN, Mike Munhall – Plattsmouth and Lori Munhall of Omaha; Grandchildren: Heidi (Tim) Chase, Daniel (Ellen) Batten, Ryan (Wendi) Munhall, Marcus Munhall, Brandon (Chelsea) Munhall, Nate (Trish) Munhall, Alexander Bucevicius, numerous great grandchildren; Sister: Maxine Munhall – Omaha; Step-brother & Sister: Kenny Schram – Tekamah and Kathryn Burns – Omaha; Sister-in-law: Betty Geith – Omaha; numerous nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his parents: Charles and Ruth Munhall; Son-in-law: Don Batten; Brothers: Dan and Ken (Red) Munhall; Sisters: Jean Castle and Nancy (Ruth) Shepard; and Step Mother: Charlotte Munhall. Funeral Services will be Friday, December 13, 2013 at 11:00 AM. at Harvey Funeral Home Chapel in Plattsmouth, NE. There will be no visitation. Memorials to American Diabetes Association.
