Jacquelyn Marie Munhall, age 94 of Plattsmouth, NE, passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at the Garden View Manor in Elkhorn, NE. She was born on October 10, 1929, in Plattsmouth, NE, to Frank and Mabel (True) Krejci.
Jacquelyn, known affectionately as Jackie, grew up in Plattsmouth and graduated from Plattsmouth High School in 1947. She later married the love of her life, Jack Munhall, on August 26, 1950, at the Methodist Church in Plattsmouth.
Jackie was a dedicated worker, prior to having children, she worked at Mutual of Omaha as a File Clerk. She was fortunate to be able to stay home with her three children, Lyn, Michael and Lori while they were growing up. She later reentered the workforce first working for Knorrs Department Store in downtown Plattsmouth, and later spent 20 years working at the VFW. Outside of work, she found joy in reading, bird watching, sewing, baking cookies, and solving word search puzzles. Jackie was famous among family and friends for her French bread. She cherished Saturday trips with her daughter Lori.
She is survived by her children, Lyn Batten of Rogers, MN, Michael Munhall of Plattsmouth, and Lori Munhall of Omaha. Jackie was a grandmother to seven grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband Jack, her sisters Frankie Cotner and Carol Reier, and her brothers David, Jim, and Bob Krejci.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 29th, 2024, at 10 AM at the Harvey Funeral Home Chapel in Plattsmouth, NE.
