Janice Ilene Conley, age 83, of Plattsmouth passed away peacefully surrounded by family in her home in Plattsmouth on Thursday, November 12, 2020.  She was born on July 22, 1937 in Moorhead, Minnesota to Orville Thomas and Elizabeth (Line) Sherwin.

Janice grew up in Moorhead, MN and graduated from Campus High School in 1955.  Following high school, she attended Business College in Fargo, North Dakota.  She met and was later married to David Conley on February 28, 1958.  Together they raised three children: Brett, Eric and Marc.

The family made their home in LaVista and then later in Plattsmouth where Janice worked for the City of Plattsmouth as a secretary until retiring in 2010.  She was an active member of Hosanna Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband David Conley of Plattsmouth, NE, son, Marc (Jacquelyn) Conley of Bellevue, NE, daughter-in-law, Nancy Conley of Plattsmouth, 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren, and sister Colleen (Edwin) Skari of St. Paul, MN.  She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents, her sons, Brett and Eric Conley, and brother Duane.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 6 ^th , 2021 at 10:30 AM at Hosanna Lutheran Church, Plattsmouth, NE.
