Janice Eddy

Janice T. Eddy was born on January 24, 1967 in West Palm Beach, Florida to Joseph & Ruth (Dooley) Stanley. She passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at the Bellevue Medical Center in Bellevue, Nebraska at the age of 46 years, 11 months and 21 days. Janice was united in marriage to Donald Neale Eddy on March 17, 1990 in Middleburg, Florida. Together they raised three children, Donald, Jr., Cheryl and Teri. Throughout the years, she spent most of her time as a homemaker, and found her greatest rewards, caring for her family and especially spending time with her children. She enjoyed attending their various activities over the years and found that becoming a grandparent was a delight. She enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, she and Don would spend hours during the summer months sitting on the front porch visiting and watching wildlife. She enjoyed camping, fishing and exploring nature. She had many hobbies including looming, plastic canvas, collecting keepsakes especially angels. She also enjoyed spending time connecting with past friends and family via social media. Decorating for any holiday was something that she took great pride doing and letting other enjoy. She was a huge fan of the Florida Gators and the Miami Dolphins. She was preceded in death by her mother Ruth Smith. She is survived by her husband Donald N. Eddy of Plattsmouth, NE and children Donald N. (Lindsay) Eddy, Jr. of San Diego, CA, Cheryl (Brent) Hoeft of Vermillion, MN, Teri Eddy of Plattsmouth, NE; Grandchildren Ava Noelle Eddy and Lakyn Johann Hoeft; Brother: Joseph Stanley of Jacksonville, FL; Sister: Kristal Smith of Jacksonville, FL Funeral Services will be Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Christ Lutheran Church, Louisville, NE.
