Jarett J Burgert

Jarett J. Burgert age 14 of Plattsmouth, Nebraska was born on November 26, 2002 in Papillion, Nebraska to Joseph and Kristine (Jess) Burgert.  He passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2016 surrounded by family at Nebraska Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska.  Jarett was a 8th Grade Student at Plattsmouth Community Middle School where he was active in Football, Basketball, Baseball and Choir.  He enjoyed being part of a team and always gave 110% to anything he was involved with.  He also loved spending time with friends, riding ATV’s, shooting targets or just hanging out.  He was always willing to go hunting, fishing and boating, but also enjoyed spending time working on various drawings.   He is survived by his parents, Joe & Kristie Burgert, sisters, Kylie and Jillian Burgert all of Plattsmouth, NE, grandfathers, Joseph Burgert of Papillion, NE, Alan Jess of Ralston, great grandmother, Ruby (Bill) Wellman of Vancouver, WA, uncles and aunt, Kris Burgert of Phoenix, AZ Lee & Desiree Jess and children Lexi and Chloe all of Missouri.   He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Karen Burgert and Sharon Jess. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 6, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church, 16220 Hwy 75 – Plattsmouth, NE Visitation will be on Thursday, January 5, 2017 from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Plattsmouth, Nebraska   Memorials to the Burgert Family for future designation.   Online condolences to www.bpharveyfuneralhome.com  Brian P.
