Jeffry Evans FitzPatrick, 69, of Leesburg, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2026,with his wife by his side. Born on October 9, 1956, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, he was the son of Frank and Vicky (Evans) FitzPatrick.

Jeff grew up in Murray and later moved to Plattsmouth, where he completed his education, graduating from Plattsmouth High School with the class of 1975. On June 7, 1980, he married Nancy Jo Tesarek, with whom he welcomed two children, Kelly Jo and Kyle. In a later chapter of his life, he married Kelly Kay Johnson of Council Bluffs on July 23, 2011.

An avid outdoorsman, Jeff found immense joy in hunting and fishing. His enthusiasm for fishing inspired him and Kelly to relocate to Florida in 2022, where he continued to embrace nature.

He is survived by his wife, Kelly Kay FitzPatrick; his children, Kelly Jo (Chaz) Macrander and Kyle FitzPatrick; his grandsons, Cash and Drake Macrander; his sisters, Vicky Roberts, Connie Boyle, Cyndy Hazel, and Kathy (Ralph) FitzPatrick; his brother, Bart (Tonya) FitzPatrick; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jeff is preceded in death by his parents, as well as his nephew, Dan Roberts, and brothers-in-law, Chuck Hazel and Roger Roberts. 

A visitation will take place on Monday, August 17, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at the Harvey Funeral Home in Plattsmouth. The family will be present to receive friends and share memories of Jeff.
