Jerry L. Fulton, age 88 of Mynard, Nebraska passed away peacefully at the Louisville Care Center on Friday, April 25, 2025. Born on June 7, 1936, in Mynard, Nebraska to Floyd D and Effie F (Smith) Fulton. Jerry lived a life filled with love, dedication, and service.
Jerry graduated from Plattsmouth High School in 1953, following graduation he enlisted and proudly served in the U.S. Army. Jerry was united in marriage to Annita J. (Taylor) Williams on May 19, 1977, in Union, Nebraska. They shared a beautiful life in Plattsmouth, NE, marked by warmth and unwavering support for one another. Jerry dedicated over 40 years of his life as a highly skilled tile setter. He was a proud member of the Brick Layers Union and was responsible for magnificent projects such as the brickwork in the Old Market, ConAgra, and the fountain at Regency.
His deep faith and devotion were rooted in the Liberty United Methodist Church, where Jerry was baptized and became the oldest living member at the time of his passing. His interests were as diverse as his contributions; he was an avid bowler, enjoyed playing Ping Pong, loved riding motorcycles, and was known for his amazing gardening skills.
Jerry is survived by his devoted wife, Annita Fulton of Plattsmouth, NE, son, Devon Fulton and wife Lisa of Plattsmouth, NE, granddaughter, Bridgette Williams-Fulton and friend Joe Treinen, grandson, Karac Fulton, nephew, Roger Roberts and wife Vicki, niece, Joyce Hoffman, sister-in-law, Judy Taylor. He is also survived by great nieces and nephews, Brad & Traci Krauth, Stacy Krauth, Jared & Cory Roberts, Bryna & Michael Sisk, great great nephews, Logan, Grant and Mason Roberts, Annita's nieces and nephews, LeAnne (Hal) Traybsza, Roni Su & Dan Fields, Jason & Anita Taylor, Lyssa Taylor and friend Trell Thompson, Ryan & Lisa Taylor, great nieces and nephews, Caleb & Allie Fine, Jet Taylor, Peyton & Lydell Williams, Faith Taylor and Annita's Nebraska Mom, Janet Snell and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Effie Fulton; his in-laws, Ravle and Fern Taylor; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Lou and Steve Henderson and Dorothea and Grant Roberts; great-nephew, Daniel Roberts; and brother-in-law, Ronald Taylor.
A visitation will be held at Brian P. Harvey Funeral Home in Plattsmouth, NE, on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm. with family greeting friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will take place at Mynard Liberty United Methodist Church on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 2:00 PM.
Memorial donations may be directed to the Mynard Liberty United Methodist Church in honor of Jerry.
