John David Adams, age 19 of Plattsmouth, passed away on Saturday, February 15th, 2025, at his home. John was born on December 15th, 2005, in Omaha, Nebraska.

He graduated from Plattsmouth High School in 2024. Following graduation, he worked as a car detailer at Woodhouse Ford. His contribution to the One Life Young Adult Group highlighted his commitment to community and faith.

His love for family, friends, and animals was profound. John had a passion for fostering dogs alongside his family. An avid sports fan, he cheered with unwavering loyalty for Husker Football, the NY Giants, and the Chicago Cubs. In his free time, John enjoyed golfing, fishing, gaming, listening to music, and cars. Known for his love of shopping—especially for shoes—and dining out, John also delighted in traveling and building Lego sets.

John’s kind, polite, and goofy nature touched many, and he will be remembered for always putting family and friends above all else.

John was the beloved son of John and Julie Adams of Plattsmouth, NE. He is survived by his brother Jason Adams and girlfriend Judah Martin, grandparents Susan and Jack Setser of Ohio, grandfather David Dawson of Texas, and the entire extended Adams family. John leaves behind a vast network of love that spans across the country and continents, including many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who became family. His memory will be especially cherished by relatives the Freemans of Omaha, the Schumacher family in Germany, and the McQuhae family in Illinois.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Glen and Norma Adams and Sharon Dawson.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday, February 20th, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm with family greeting friends at Brian P. Harvey Funeral Home in Plattsmouth, NE. A celebration of John’s life will be held at One Life Church in Plattsmouth, NE, on Friday, February 21st, 2025, at 11:00 am.
