Jordan Regier Vickinovac

Jordan Regier Vickinovac was born on November 12, 1992 in York, Nebraska to Matthew and Deidre. He passed away on May 14, 2011 near Columbus, Nebraska at the age of 18 years, 6 months and 2 days. Jordan started kindergarten in St. Paul, Nebraska and also attended Shelby, Lincoln Park, and Aurora Schools. He graduated from Plattsmouth High School on May 8, 2011 and had recently been accepted into the Tulsa, Oklahoma Welding School. He enjoyed bowling (he was a member of the Aurora High School Bowling Team), hunting, 4-wheeling, socializing, working out, playing football with his brother, ice hockey, driving around and mudding. During his summer breaks he loved to work on nearby farms and ranches. He attended Shadow Lake Community Church. He was a fun loving guy!! He almost always had a smile on his face which would light up any room. He had a great sense of humor and always tried to see the good in everyone and every situation. Spending time with friends was very important to Jordan. His group of friends was large as he made friends with everyone he came in contact with. He knew no strangers. He often would have friends over for supper and they would spend the night playing X-box or just talking, sometimes these visits would turn into multiple night events. He was the life of any get together always making jokes or playing pranks his friends. He always wanted to do stunts just to see if he could accomplish them without getting hurt. Family was very important to Jordan and he enjoyed the time he could spend with them playing games or just goofing off. He did not like to spend time alone so he always found family or friends to surround him. He loved his God and knew that he was going to heaven! Jordan is survived by his Parents: Deidre Johnson of Plattsmouth, NE and Matthew Vickinovac of Greenwood, NE. Grandparents: Alvin & Gladys Ediger of Aurora, NE; John & Linda Vickinovac of PA; Georgi & Phil Holiday of PA; Brothers and Sister: Benjamin of Omaha, NE; Amanda of Aurora, NE; Alex of Plattsmouth, NE; Niece Bristal of Aurora; Special Friend: Mandi Brink. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and many many friends. He was preceded in death by his great grandparents Ediger and Regier ; Uncle and Aunt; Walt & JoEtta Ediger Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. at First Baptist Church, 16220 Hwy 75 – Plattsmouth, Nebraska Visitation will be Monday, May 16, 2011 from 1:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Harvey Funeral Home, 306 N. 7th Street, Plattsmouth, Nebraska.
