Joseph E Toman

Joseph Eugene Toman age 73 of Plattsmouth, NE was born on April 7, 1944 to David M and Margaret M.. (Henton) Toman.  He passed away surrounded by family at his home in rural Plattsmouth, Nebraska on October 5, 2017.   Joe grew up on the family farm west of Plattsmouth.  After graduating High School in 1963, he served in the Army Reserves for 7 years, and also worked as a carpenter during this time as well as after leaving the service. While continuing to work as a carpenter, Joe succeeded his brother Gary in farming the family land in 1991. He is survived by his wife, Judy Toman, Plattsmouth; son, Dan (Malinda) Toman, Plattsmouth, step-children, Christopher Alback, Plattsmouth, Emily (Trent) Daniels, Bellevue, 6 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, several nieces and nephews.   He was preceded in death by parents, David & Margaret Toman, step-father, Sterling Ingwerson, brother, Gary Toman.
