Judith D Johnson

Judith D. “Judy” Johnson was born on February 15, 1947 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Nebraska City, Nebraska to Clark and Dorothy (Meyers) Balfour. She passed way on Friday, October 19, 2012 at the Bellevue Medical Center at the age of 65 years, 8 months and 4 days. She was raised in the Nehawka area and graduated from Nehawka High School. She was united in marriage on July 16, 1965 to Albert F. Johnson at the Methodist Church in Nehawka and together they raised two children, Jodi and Ryan. She is survived by her Husband: Albert Johnson of Plattsmouth, NE; Children: Jody Hoffman and husband Richard of Nashville, TN; Ryan Johnson and wife Diana of Omaha, NE; Grandchildren: Ashley Hoffman, Bryna Hoffman, Jaeden Johnson, Tessa Johnson Sisters: Lorraine Redden of Plattsmouth, NE; Ginger Wintz of Auburn, NE. Also survived by numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her Parents: Clark & Dorothy Balfour; Brothers: Marvin Balfour and Billy Balfour Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Nehawka United Methodist Church, 400 Washington, Nehawka, NE with Pastor Sandy Webster officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 23, 2012 from 1:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
