Judith “Judy” Cihacek age 70 of Plattsmouth, Nebraska passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at her home in Plattsmouth, Nebraska. She was born on November 27, 1943 in Washington, Iowa to Darrel L. and Betty L. (Calhoun) Mitts. Judy was raised in Mt. Pleasant Iowa and moved to Omaha, Nebraska in 1965. On December 29, 1978 she was united in marriage to Richard Dean Cihacek in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Judy was an avid craigslist shopper and reader. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and also spending time at Hidden Hollow campgrounds. She is survived by her husband Richard, Plattsmouth, NE; children, Tracy Otterstein of Plattsmouth, NE; Teresa Trabert of Plattsmouth, NE; Stephanie (John) Johnson of Biggsville, IL; Lori (John) Blotzer of Plattsmouth, NE; Kelly Barber of Hartford, IA; Wendy Cihacek of Carlisle, IA; James Cihacek of Cedar Park, TX; 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, sister, Connie (Dave) Woodring of Tekmah, NE. Also survived by numerous Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Darrel and Betty Mitts and son-in-law George Barber. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 10, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Harvey Funeral Home Chapel in Plattsmouth, Nebraska. Visitation will be Sunday, November 9, 2014 from 1 until 8 PM with the family present from 5 – 7 PM at the Harvey Funeral Home Plattsmouth, NE. Interment will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Rural Plattsmouth, Nebraska Memorials may be directed to Happy Paws or Plattsmouth Food Pantry. Brian P.
