Karl Rollins, 77 of Omaha was born on December 29, 1946, to Frederick Karl & Juanita (Bennett) Rollins in Los Angeles, CA. He passed away on July 19, 2024, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Karl honorably served his country in the Air Force.

On November 24, 1976, he married Joyce Pivonka at the United Methodist Church in Omaha. Karl worked as an IT specialist and retired from IBM. He was a member of Hope Church in Omaha. His greatest joys in life were cooking and spending time with his family, particularly his great-grandson, Kade.

He is survived by his wife Joyce; children Gina Engohang, Brenda (Ronald Jr.) Lessner; Fred K. (Jill) Rollins, Jonathan Rollins; 32 grandchildren and 27 ½ great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Stacey Cowling, son & daughter-in-law Frank & Yvonne Pivonka and his half-brother, Donald Kloe.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, July 26th at the Hope Church located at 9313 Binney St. in Omaha. The service will be livestreamed, with the link posted above.

Burial will take place on Monday, July 29th at 1:30 p.m. at the Omaha National Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the Hope Church or Rollins family for later designation.
