Kathleen A Diggins

Kathleen Ann Feder Diggins age 88 of Plattsmouth, Nebraska passed away peacefully on August 11, 2025 at the Buffet Cancer Center in Omaha, Nebraska, after a short valiant battle with cancer.  She was born on April 5, 1937 to Charles and Mary (Novak) Feder in Omaha, Nebraska.

Kathleen was known by many names-mom, grandma, Kay, Kathy, Kat, but no matter what name she was known by, her sense of humor and love of fun shined brightly.  Kathy loved her Czech heritage, South Omaha, the outdoors, gardening, shopping, flowers and sports, but above all her greatest loves were her family and animals, most notably dogs and horses.

Kathy is survived by her daughter, Macayla (Joe) McIntyre of Bellevue, NE, her son, Justin Diggins of Plattsmouth, NE, grandchildren, Jessie, Taylor, Paige, Dylan and great grandson Thomas.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband James (Jim), brothers, Charles Feder, Jr., Eugene Feder, Donald Feder and David Feder all of Plattsmouth, and sister Mary Lou Dean of Omaha.

In accordance with Kathy's wishes no funeral services will be held.  Instead, the family invites you to share a fond memory of Kathy or make a donation to an animal welfare organization, or to cancer or autism research.
