Kay E Cunningham

Kay Elnora Cunningham age 78, was born on April 24, 1937 in Bayard, Nebraska to Marion and Elnora (Hennings) Barnard. She passed away on June 16, 2015 at the Bellevue Medical Center in Bellevue, Nebraska. Kay graduated from Plattsmouth High School with the Class of 1955. She was later united in marriage to James W. Cunningham in August of 1957 in Mynard, Nebraska. She worked briefly for Tip-Top Curls and the United States Census Bureau, however most of her time was spent being a Homemaker, wife and mother. She enjoyed time with her family, reading, knitting, and crocheting. She also was a bit of a film buff and enjoyed the opportunities she had to watch movies with her sisters. She is survived by her Children: Daniel Cunningham and wife Patty of Union, NE; Teresa Redding Simmons and husband Hugh of Sackets Harbor, NY; Camilla Cunningham of San Diego, CA. 3 Grandchildren: Logan J. Redding, George Schworm and Victoria (Coldwell) Redding. Great Grandchildren: Brady Schworm, Amber & Alyssa Bock, Ethan Nacin. Brothers/Sisters: Glen Barnard of Las Vegas, NV, Lynn Barnard of Plattsmouth, NE, and Linda Duncan of Plattsmouth, NE. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, James W. Cunningham, Grandson, Blain E. Redding; Grandson, Jayden Schworm, Sisters, Vivian Marvin, Carlisa Gansemer, and Joan Barnard. Private family services will be held at a later date.
