Robert Lee Bogle age 67 of Plattsmouth, Nebraska passed away surrounded by family at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska on Wednesday, March 16, 2022. He was born on November 25, 1954, in Humboldt, Nebraska to Robert Clyde and Carol Elaine (Kienker) Bogle.
He was raised in Plattsmouth where he graduated from Plattsmouth High School in 1973. He was active in Boy Scouts while under the leadership of Scout Master John Rishel as well as a member of the Plattsmouth High School Band. While in the band, he had the opportunity to travel to the Pasadena Rose Parade. After High School, he joined his parents and brother Mark in the operation of Mullenax Auto (NAPA) Store in Plattsmouth. Lee was also a licensed fire arms dealer and enjoyed gunsmithing as well as shooting.
He was a 31 year member of the Plattsmouth Volunteer Fire Department where he held a variety of offices throughout the years. He was also very active at First Lutheran Church. Throughout the years he enjoyed time coaching his girls in softball, taking family camping trips and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Jina Bogle of Plattsmouth, daughters, Katie & Jaclyn Bogle both of Plattsmouth, mother, Carol Bogle of Plattsmouth, sister, Linda (Gary) Swoboda of Estes Park, CO, brothers, Randy (Candice) Bogle of Auburn, NE, Mark (Terri) Bogle of Plattsmouth, mother-in-law, Nancy Mules of Kansas City, MO, brothers-in-law, James (Leslie) Mules of Centennial, CO, Joseph (Kim) Mules of Kansas City, MO. He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews.
Lee was preceded in death by his father, Robert “Bob” Bogle, father-in-law, James Lewis Mules.
Visitation will be Friday, March 18, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the First Lutheran Church with family greeting friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
The Funeral Services will be Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 10:30 AM at First Lutheran Church, Plattsmouth, NE with Rev. Ryan Maser officiating and Marsha Fleming as organist.
Visitation will be Friday, March 18, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the First Lutheran Church with family greeting friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Plattsmouth.
