Linda Kay Fullerton, age 85, of Plattsmouth, Nebraska, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Hillcrest Health and Rehab in Bellevue, Nebraska.  Linda was born on Friday, October 6, 1939 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Edgar Raymond and Dorothy Katherine (Walline) Sprinkel.

A proud graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School in 1957, Linda began her working life as a bookkeeper at Shavers Food Mart in Omaha, where she worked for her father. It was there that she met the love of her life, Jack Fullerton. They were united in marriage on April 12, 1959, at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Omaha, Nebraska.  In 1965, Linda and Jack moved to Plattsmouth when Jack became the store manager at Ruback’s. In 1976, they welcomed their son, Daniel. Linda later became a small business owner, operating the Perfect Scents Floral Shop in Plattsmouth for seven years beginning in 1994.

Linda was a devoted member of the First Presbyterian Church. She was also active in the Papillion Lodge #114 Order of the Eastern Star and cherished the friendships she formed through her Bridge Club. She was known for her love of entertaining, her passion for cooking, and her and Jack’s shared love of antiquing.

She is survived by her son, Daniel Fullerton, and his wife Jennifer of Plattsmouth, NE; her grandchildren, Logan Fullerton and his fiancée Keely Prusia, and Crosby Fullerton; her brothers, Ronald Sprinkel and wife Anita, and Jonathan Sprinkel and wife Susan, all of Millard, NE; as well as several nieces.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Edgar Raymond Sprinkel and Dorothy Katherine Sprinkel, and her husband, Jack Fullerton.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at First Presbyterian Church in Plattsmouth, Nebraska, with Rev. Matt Coplen officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
