Lois N Conrin

Lois N. Conrin was born on July 23, 1928 in Broken Bow, Nebraska to James A. and Hallie F. (Myers) Nelson. She passed away peacefully at the Bellevue Medical Center on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at the age of 87 years, 8 months and 8 days. Lois was raised and attended school in Broken Bow, Nebraska. After high school, she moved to the Omaha area to attend business school. It was during this time that she met Eugene “Mike” Conrin. They fell in love and were united in marriage on September 20, 1948 in Mason City, Iowa. Together they raised three sons, Michael, Mark and Matthew. They purchased their first home in South Omaha, eventually moving to Plattsmouth. Lois loved to spend time outdoors working in her yard and tending her garden. When she wasn’t able to be outdoors, she enjoyed sewing. Her greatest love was the time she was able to spend with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, Michael Conrin, Estes Park, CO; Mark Conrin, Plattsmouth, NE, Matthew (Kim) Conrin, Papillion, NE. Grandchildren, Danielle (Myles) Tyler, Elkhorn, NE, Alexandra (Alexander) Lepert, Berthoud, CO, Mackenzie Conrin, Omaha, NE. great granddaughter, Kairi Tyler, brothers, Leland (Pat) Nelson, Broken Bow, NE, Leon (Mary) Nelson, Cedar Rapids, IA, sister, LeAnn Hughes, Walla Walla, WA. She was preceded in death by her parents, James & Hallie Nelson husband, Eugene, brothers, Darrell & Vaughn Nelson. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. at Harvey Funeral Home Chapel in Plattsmouth with Father Donald Shane, officiating. Pallbearers include, Alexander Lepert, Myles Tyler, Wendel Nelson, Don Nelson, Ramon Johnson and Eli Moseman. Visitation will be Monday, April 4th with family greeting friends from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. A Wake Service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Bellevue, Nebraska. Memorials may be directed to the Plattsmouth Fire Fighters Association. Arrangements by Brian P.
