Lola M. Hadraba was born on October 22, 1928 in Barlett, Iowa to Wallace and Flossie (Howery) Coghill. She passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday, May 4 2011 at the Golden Living Center in Plattsmouth, Nebraska at the age of 82 years, 6 months and 12 days.
After attending High School, she also attended Business School and worked in various companies as a bookkeeper. She was united in marriage on August 13, 1949 to John “Jack” Hadraba in St. John’s Catholic Church. Together they raised seven children, Jon, Mary Kay, Tom, Pat, Ed, Jerry and Michele.
Lola was a longtime member of the F.O.E. #365 Auxiliary in Plattsmouth. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, watching sports, collecting eagles, doing word searches and going on car rides. Her greatest joy was the time she was able to spend with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her Children – Jon M. Hadraba; Mary Kasseckert; Tom M. Hadraba; Pat Hadraba (Kelly); Jerry Hadraba (Jackie) and Michele Quinn (Rob) all of Plattsmouth and Ed Hadraba of Omaha, NE. Grandchildren – Tim, Franny, Linde, Michael, Kalee, Cash, Jordon, Shelby, Garrett, Andrew and Levi. Great-Grandchildren: Parker, Riley and Brody. Brother – Marlin Coghill of Omaha; Sister – Leona Francois of Omaha; Brother-in-law – J. D. Endicott of Arizona. Also survived by other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband Jack; infant sister; sisters Joyce and Wilma; brother Speed and an infant son.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, May 9, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. at the Church of the Holy Spirit in Plattsmouth, Nebraska with Monsignor Paul Witt officiating.
The family will greet friends on Sunday, May 8, 2011 from 6:30 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. at the Church followed by a Rosary at 7:30 P.M.
Inurnment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Plattsmouth, NE
