Loretta Jean Hoover

Loretta Jean Hoover age 93 of Plattsmouth, Nebraska was born on April 7, 1925 in Omaha, Nebraska to LeRoy and Clara (Williams) Hehn.  She passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at her home in Plattsmouth, Nebraska

Loretta was a Homemaker and enjoyed spending time caring for her family.  She did work for a short time as a Key Punch Operator for IBM Corporation.  She was united in marriage to Robert Kent in 1944 and after Robert’s death, she was united in marriage to Lester Hoover in 1961.  She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Plattsmouth.

She is survived by her daughter,  Marlys Swadley of Benson, AZ, daughter-in-law, Judy Kent of Plattsmouth, NE; grandchildren,  Amy Kent, Bethany Collins, Carissa Knudson, David & Danielle Kent, Eric Kent, niece, Susan Miller of San Diego, California

She was preceded in death by her  parents:  LeRoy & Clara Hehn,  husbands,   Robert Kent & Lester Hoover; son,  Charles Kent; grandson,  Dwayne Swadley, and sister, June Pike

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church in Plattsmouth, Nebraska with Rev. Raymond Wicks officiating.

Burial will be at a later date in the Bridgeport Cemetery in Bridgeport, Nebraska .
