Madelynne Grace Hughes

Madelynne G. Hughes age 7 of Plattsmouth, Nebraska was born on February 20, 2007 at Lakeside Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska to Gregory and Virginia (Robbins) Hughes. She passed away on Monday, January 19, 2015 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Madelynne attended Plattsmouth Elementary School where she was in the 2nd Grade. She was active both at school and with outside activities. She loved her involvement with PJYA as a Cheerleader for the various association activities. She also was involved with the Tip Tap Toe Dance Studio in Ralston. Aside from her activities, she always enjoyed time with her friends and family. A highlight for her were the opportunities to go to the movies with her uncle and grandma. Madelynne was a spunky 2nd grader who always had a smile on her face and enjoyed sprinkles on her ice cream. She is survived by her parents, Greg & Ginger Hughes; sister, Taylor, brothers, Zachary, Christopher and Timothy all of Plattsmouth; grandparents, John Hughes of Papillion, NE, Janet Austin of St. Petersburg, FL, Larry & Marlene Robbins of Papillion, NE; great grandma, Margo Hughes of Winfield, KS; aunts/uncles, Kevin & Anne Hughes of Omaha, NE, Tricia Newton of Nebraska, Jason & Heidi Robbins of San Diego, CA, Alycia & Greg Denos of Papillion, NE, Jon & Cheryl Robbins of San Diego, CA, Paul & Victoria Robbins of Sioux City, IA, Victoria & Shawn Doty of Taunton, MA; & numerous cousins. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 12009 S. 84th Street, Papillion, NE with Bishop Nathan Cox officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 23rd from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with family greeting friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
