Margaret was born December 6, 1938 on a farm near Benedict NE.

She attended school at Benedict Consolidated School graduating in May 1956.  After graduating, she moved to Lincoln NE where she took a six-month course at a business school.  Upon the completion of that course, she became a bookkeeper at a business in Lincoln. Margaret married Gerald Rossow February 8, 1958.  He was a member of the US Air Force.  To this union four children were born. During their Air Force years, the family was stationed at Lincoln AFB – Nebraska, Selfridge AFB – Michigan, Wurtsmith AFB – Michigan, Hickam AFB – Hawaii, Griffiss AFB – New York and Offutt AFB – Nebraska.

During her children's early years, Margaret was a stay-at-home mom.  After moving to Plattsmouth NE in 1972, she worked at the local A&W, Ruback's grocery store, Mutual of Omaha Insurance Company and Cass County Bank/Citizens State Bank.  She retired from the bank in August 2021.  Her retirement days were spent working jigsaw puzzles and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Margaret is survived by her children Gerald (Susen) Rossow Jr of Yutan NE; Elizabeth Wilson of Plattsmouth NE and Katherine (Christopher) Harris of Plattsmouth NE, 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, sisters Joan Frohner of Omaha NE, Barbara Gregory of Essex IA and Kathryn Vanicek of Hays KS and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Doyle & Carol Rossow of Marysville MI along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

Preceding Margaret in death are her grandparents, parents, husband, her son Kenneth, her brother Marion Doak and her sisters Helen Jinright, Dorothy Doak & Evelyn Lewis.

Margaret was a member of The First Presbyterian Church in Plattsmouth NE.

Funeral Services for Margaret will be held Saturday, January 6, 2024,  at 10:30 AM at the Frist Presbyterian Church in Plattsmouth, Nebraska.

Visitation will be held, Friday, January 5, 2024 from Noon until 8:00 PM at the Harvey Funeral Home in Plattsmouth, Nebraska.

Memorials can be given to the church or to the family for future designation.
