Marvin Winters, Jr. age 85 of Plattsmouth, Ne passed away Jan. 19, 2014 at the Bellevue Medical Center. “Sonny was born October 29, 1928 in Lead, SD to Marvin and Mae Winters. He is survived by his children Terry Stoll – Plattsmouth, NE, Vicki (Jasper) Holcomb – GA, Roger (Sharon) Winters – LaPlatte, NE, Linda Winters – LaPlatte, NE, Larry (DeAnna) Winters – Sidney, IA; 20 Grandchildren and 26 Great Grandchildren. A brother Robert (Carolyn) Winters – Plattsmouth, NE and sisters Betty Porter – Plattsmouth, NE, Martha (Steve) DeSart – Kokomo, IN, Margaret (Ty) Finney – Blair, NE, Judy Williamson – Kokomo, IN. Sonny is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Sandra Dyson, Great Grandson Jaxson Jasa. His working life of 41 years was spent as a carman for the Union Pacific railroad. Sonny was a member of Eagles Club; the VFW Post # 2543 and BRCA at Union Pacific. There will be no funeral service per the family request. Memorials can be made to the Plattsmouth Rescue Squad.
