Mary A. Leslie was born on August 31, 1920 in Forman, North Dakota to Clarence and Nina (Dada) Argersinger. She passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at the Golden Living Center in Plattsmouth, Nebraska at the age of 94 years, 13 days.
After high school, Mary taught in Reeder, North Dakota before enlisting in the United States Navy during World War II. After her discharge in 1946, she continued her teaching career. She was united in marriage to Alexander D. Leslie on December 19, 1954 in Forman, North Dakota and together they raised two children, Lori and Michael.
During her married life, Mary worked as a Bookkeeper in several capacities. She and Alexander made their home in several locations throughout the years, including Minot, North Dakota, Edgemont, South Dakota and Mesa, Arizona. She enjoyed spending her time camping, reading and most importantly spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her Children Lori Larson and husband Kevin of Plattsmouth, NE and Michael Leslie and wife Susanne of Rochester, MN, 5 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary was preeceded in death by her Parents, husband, Alexander D. Leslie; three sisters and 2 brothers-in-law.
Graveside Services will be held at a future date at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
