Maxine Rose Thieking age 97 of Plattsmouth, Nebraska was born on November 25, 1920 in Fonda, Iowa to William Earl and Elsie Mary Augusta (Weidauer) Wile. She passed away peacefully at her home in rural Plattsmouth on Friday, November 2, 2018.

Maxine was united in marriage on January 26, 1941 to Gerhard Thieking in Prescott, Iowa. Together they farmed and raised a family.

Maxine is survived by her daughters, Norma (Al) Thomas of Plattsmouth, NE, Glenda Thieking of Sioux Falls, SD and Arla (Jeff) Keckeisen of Sioux Falls, SD.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gerhard Thieking and infant daughter, Myrna Jean.

Private Services will be held at a later date with burial in St. John's Cemetery in Rural Lytton, IA.
