Minnie E. Topliff

Minnie Topliff was born Oct. 3, 1938 to Herbert and Fern (Moffatt) Frazer in La Platte, NE. She passed away Sept. 30, 2014 at the age of 75 years while living at the Papillion Manor. She grew up in Plattsmouth area and graduated from Plattsmouth High School with the Class of 1956. On March 14, 1959 she wed Loren Topliff at the First United Methodist Church in Plattsmouth. Together they raised one daughter Christina. Minnie is survived by her daughter Christina Topliff of Lincoln, Ne; granddaughter Kirstin Lipps also of Lincoln; a sister Nora (Frank) Eyster of Plattsmouth and a sister-in-law Bonnie Younker of MO. She will also be remembered by many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents Herbert & Fern Frazer, husband, Loren, two infant daughters and her brother-in-law Ralph Younker. In their early years, Minnie and Loren owned a flower shop in Plattsmouth. She later worked for the Plattsmouth Journal as a bookkeeper. She also was an election worker. Minnie had many interests and hobbies which included singing in the choir, reading, gardening and her favorite was spending time with her friends known as the sisterhood. Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 3 from 1-9 P.M. with family present 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Services are scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 4, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Harvey Funeral Chapel, Plattsmouth, NE with Dr. Allan Wooters officiating.
